This RTMED Thoracolumbar Sacral Orthosis is a rigid or semi-rigid spinal orthotic brace that covers the thoracic (chest), lumbar (lower back), and sacral (pelvic base) spine, extending from below the armpits down to the pelvis. It is a custom-molded or prefabricated medical device fabricated by orthotists, often made of hard polyethylene plastic with soft padding inside.
